Future Posts:

To get back in the swing of things, here is a list of products I plan to review:
Loreal's New Face Wash + Scrublet (<--- Actual term! I swear!)
Maybelline's New Gel Eyeliner (<3)
Chinaglaze Nail Polish in a Darj Grey Sparkly thing
Jessica McClintock Dresses (I've been there too many times and have too many dresses not to.)
+ Other stuff I'm sure I've forgotten!

Review: Lady Gaga's new MV: Telephone

How on earth do I review this....
It's awkward.
But it's not, because it's Lady Gaga.

Unfortunately, that doesn't excuse everything: there are genuinely bad part, that not only don't fit, but don't add anything regardless of the fact that the story makes no sense.

Ah. The story. Here were my questions about the story:
Is it a whore prison?
Someone's kinky harem?
Is Beyonce Gaga's pimp?
Are they lesbian lovers?

Without the minute-long segments with absolutely nothing going on, aka the story, it's actually not bad.
There's a lot of random costumes and awkward dancing, but it is interesting to watch, and very Lady Gaga.

But throw Beyonce in there and things get weird. I appreciate and respect Beyonce; she is a fantastic artist in many aspects, but this is so obviously not her thing.
There are some stop-motion sequences with her that are fun to watch, but the rest of the time, when they're talking, when she's dancing, it's just weird, and Beyonce looks ridiculously out of her element.

Lastly: It has nothing to do with calling something. Nothing.

Over Reaction?
Uh... (too lazy to make a wordle, sorry).

Movie Review: Cop Out

SERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR5RRXYUU7YNKL.,,M6When I review this, keep in mind7bhgcfdddddddddrE 4T54DE;90; |]

Yeahhhh... my puppy did that...
Moving on!

Review for Cop Out:
Watch-ability:
  • This movie was a yes and no for me. It's definitely a movie that you need to RENT and watch with about ten friends, preferably buzzed. There's humor, don't get me wrong, but there's always a vague sense of "Okayyy- when am I going to laugh?" It's also generally pretty crude humor.

Characters:
  •  The Good: ...
  • The Bad: There's no one who actually seems like they truly fit their role except the Crazy kid (you'll realize who it is if you see it), and the Prostitute, who I loved for some reason. It also drags- I spent a good amount of time going, "When is it going to end?"
  • The Ugly: The villans. Oh, where these guys bad. They were right on the edge of being those kinds of characters who are deliberately and stupidly stereotypical and bad- but that's the problem! They were on the edge, so instead of being funny, they were just generally awkward.
Sorry, Cop Out. But I say no. Go ahead and rent it, in fact, do rent it, but don't see it in theaters. It's not a good theater movie because of its awkward humor and since it's just no that good. But a few shot of Tequila, and who knows?

Healthy Snack Review!

This isn't so much a review as an informative post. But whatever!
Looking for a healthy snack?

Yes! This is indeed a tortilla chip. Most people choose fried chips like Lays and Cheetos over these, but they're healthier and just are fun to eat. But! We will go a step beyond that!

Buy a bag of tortillas- flour it good but corn are more flavorful and less fattening. (Don't base your decision on how you like them raw- that will change.)

Cut tortillas into slices or chips and bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes. Add a little salt for extra flavor and eat!

They're a lot healthier than any chip you can get in a store, and they're great warm. I wouldn't make a lot in advance, because they don't have the same preservatives are store-bought chips and would probably turn soggy. But they're fast and great! Try it out- you'll never have to look for a "healthy" chip in a store again!

The Face Shop: Nail Polish Remover

The Faceshop is a mainly Asian company that originated in Korea, but they've apparently got a US branch now! So I'm going to review a product I bought five years ago! I bought this product when I was...twelve? In Taiwan on my cousin's recommendation :)

The Good:
  • Smell: Most nail polish removers smell awful. This one not only doesn't, but it smells good! Very clearly like strawberries. :)
  • Effectiveness: I've had this bottle for five years, used it nearly every time I've needed a remover, and still have a bit more than half a bottle.
The Bad:
  • Effectiveness: It's not very immediately effective, like I don't think you could stick a finger in it and have anything immediately happen, but like I said before, a little packs a lot.
The Ugly:
  • None :)
Verdict:
I say why not, if you can find it. It's a great alternative to other polish remover, but regular ones aren't that horrible to me that I'd fly back to Taiwan to get more. But! If you ever come across it, it's a good buy :)
